Covid-19 mainly affects the older ones among us. Their risk of dying from the disease is significantly higher than in people under 50 years of age. In particular, nursing homes and nursing homes have an increased need for protective equipment for residents and employees. LEICKE wants to help them and we have decided to donate 10,000 masks to care facilities, mobile care services and nursing homes.
The following facilities have already received our masks:
- Diakonisches Werk Innere Mission Leipzig e. V.
- Seniorenzentrum Knielingen, Karlsruhe
- Paritätisches Pflegezentrum Beltheim
- Vereinigung Integration & Assistenz e. V., Hamburg
We are happy that we could make the people there smile. And we are continuing our donation campaign. Do you have family or friends who are in care or work for a home or nursing service? Please remember: this time is a burden, especially for seniors, who are often even more lonely now. They don't just need a mask – right now, they need more attention from all of us.
