The SachsenRAD E-Racing Bike R8 Flex III is the modern answer to sporty e-mobility for urban and off-road use.

Strong frame in a unique design

The aluminum frame of the E-MTB R8 Flex III is made from the same material used in the aviation industry. The frame is the ultimate combination of strength and lightness and intelligently accommodates the battery. The sporty design of the frame makes you and your bike a dynamic eye-catcher!

Simply flexible

The clever, removable battery of the R8 can easily be stowed in your normal backpack. Now it's up to you where you want to charge the battery: At a charging station? Or while you are enjoying a coffee in a bistro?    
Whether in everyday traffic or on longer tours: the e-bike copes well with all conditions and scores with its versatility.


Great shifting and braking

Shimano supplies a 9-speed derailleur system for the bike, which ensures smooth gear changes. With only one chainring at the front and nine sprockets at the rear, the gear gradation of this drivetrain is more even. It makes it easier to select the optimum gear for different situations and enables precise shifting. The hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear develop enormous power and bring you safely to a halt, even in wet conditions. The KENDA MTB tires keep you on track with exceptional grip

Market-leading motor

To give the R8 the right boost, we rely on Bafang, one of the leading manufacturers of components and complete e-drive systems for electromobility,  The motor for e-racing bikes is perfectly integrated and powerful. Its harmonious, smooth handling is its outstanding feature.

Lasts extra long

The battery, which has been increased to 14,500 mAh or 522 Wh compared to the predecessor model, lasts extra long and supports you on particularly long tours - this endurance wonder has up to 150 km in it! This means that the R8 Flex III will carry you home even when you're a little tired after an extra dose of cycling.

Stylish and rough  

The choice is yours: with or without mudguards? We supply mudguards for the front and rear (with integrated rear light) free of charge, so you can customize your Flex III just the way you like it: Chic for the city or rather rough for off-road.
